IN CHARACTER
Character Name: W’llo “Willow” Kent.
Age & Birthday: 21. January 19th.
Codename: Miss Saturn.
Sexual Orientation : Bisexual.
Occupation: Student.
Parents: Birth parents unknown. Adopted parents: M’gann “Megan” (nee M’orzz) and Connor Kent.
Siblings: Two adopted brothers.
Team: Birds of Prey.
Powers: A list of powers with descriptions.
Abilities: Being a White Martian she has all the same powers and abilities that they do.
Martian Physiology: The average Martian possesses the following power set:
Extrasensory Input: Nine different senses.
Martian Vision: She can see farther and more acuity then humans. She can see through objects and barriers. Martian Vision is like Kryptonian heat vision in that she can make things explode with her eyes.
Flight: She can fly by force of sheer will.
Invulnerability: Aside from fire, Willow is immune to most physical attacks. This is thanks to all the shape shifting she can do and the ability to increase the density of their molecular structure.
Malleable Form: Psionic control over their physical form, even down to the molecular level. As a form of shape-shifting, this power enables a Martian to contort their physical structure to adopt human form, elongate limbs, grow to immense size, and so on. They can also change the substance and material from which their body is made of. This allows them to produce weapons and clothing on ant type. They can maintain the selected form for an indeterminate amount of time without undue risk or strain. This ability allows for the folowing powers:
Intangibility: The ability to decrease their molecular density to become incorporeal and thus able to pass through solid objects, as well as increase it to become tougher and stronger.
Invisibility: The ability to bend light waves around their bodies, rendering them invisible to most forms of human detection. Through this byproduct of shape-shifting, they can also alter their body's temperature, allowing them to become invisible to most forms of electronic detection.
Size Alteration
Regeneration: She can heal anything from a small cut to regenerating a lost limb.
Self-Sustenance: She can survive very well without eating or drinking. This also emanates the need to produce waste. Willow however loves to eat and drink.
Superhuman Speed: Either through flight or natural movement she can move faster than a standard human which also allows for superhuman agility and superhuman reflexes.
Superhuman Endurance: She can operate under extreme conditions for an indeterminate period of time without showing signs of fatigue. The limitations of this is unknown. When in the presence of fire, this endurance diminishes greatly.
Superhuman Strength: While the exact range of magnitude of a Martian strength is unknown, it is generally accepted that their strength levels easily surpass the capacity to lift 100 tons. This ranks them in the same strength level as a Kryptonian under a yellow sun.
Telepathy: The ability to read the minds of others and project their thoughts to varying degrees. They can also project their mental essences into a gestalt community known as the "Great Mind". Through this, the community can enhance the telepathic strength of other Martians. This power can also enable them to reverse the effects of amnesia or psychological brainwashing.
Mind Control: As an extension of their telepathic powers, they can also use the ability to alter a subject's psychological profile, enabling them to manipulate, and in some cases, outright control their chosen target. This practice is greatly discouraged however, and only rarely used.
History:
When M’gann and Connor found out they could not have children together they did the only thing they could do, adopt. After telling their families and friends about it J’onn told her about a colony of white Martians on Saturn that were good and kind and had an abundance of orphans. After discussing it in length they went to Saturn and to the colony that J’onn spoke of and applied to adopt a child. It was surprisingly easy since they knew of Miss Martian and Superboy. They let them go the orphanage and pick as many children as they wanted. They settled on one little girl who was very young and named W’llo. M’gann felt an instant connection with her so they took her home and introduced her as Willow to everyone.
When W’llo was old enough to start learning how to shape shift M’gann though her how. It took only a month before W’llo was able to take the form of a Green Martian and the form of a human child. She then started making friends with other children which she enjoyed. It wasn’t long before she was joined by two brothers who her parents adopted from earth.
She wasn’t the brightest of children but she enjoyed school. Elementary school wasn’t as fun as high school though. Once she matriculated she decided to do things that would make her happy like trying out for the cheer squad and running for student council, which she made as class treasurer for all four years. While she was never head cheerleader or squad captain she was on the team for all four years of her high school career. She had a lot of friends and never was lacking for a place to stay when she didn’t want to be at home.
When she was sixteen Connor took her to get her driver’s license which went better then they had expected. Little did he know that she had been studying for almost two years and watching him closely when he drove. M’gann didn’t drive since she could fly and while Willow could fly, driving help her blend in with her peers. For her birthday present (or adoption day present) she was given a very nice car that Connor had bought and fixed up for her.
She dated quite a bit during high school. She only had two serious relationships and everyone knew that she didn’t sleep around. She went to prom with a boy she thought she was going to spend the rest of her life with but just after graduation they broke up since he was going to university in New York and he wanted to ‘keep his options open’. She was crushed of course but got over it when she started at UCLA.
It was around that time that she started fighting crime in her Green Martian form. Unlike her mother’s costume of white and blue and a cape Willow chose black and formfitting with a gold cuffs on each arm. After taking down Tigress on her own she was invited to join the Birds of Prey. At first they thought she was Miss Martian but she clarified that she was her daughter and she went by Miss Saturn (since that’s where she was from). She enjoyed working with her team and even liked Captain America while she was on the team.
She’s currently thinking of leaving school to pursue a career in country singing. Both her parents are against this.
